India will hope to add more medals in shooting, tennis and athletics on Day 6 of the Hangzhou Asian Games.
There are men’s 50m 3 position and women’s 10m air pistol events, where India can win individual and team medals. Swapnil Kusle, Aishwari Pratap Singh Tomar and Akhil Sheoran are part of the 50m 3 position event and Palak, Esha Singh and Divya TS will feature in the 10m air pistol women’s event.
In tennis, the doubles pair of Ramkumar Ramanathan and Saketh Maineni will battle it out for the gold medal on Friday while the men’s and women’s badminton teams can secure medals if they win their respective quarterfinals.
Friday will also see the athletics events and India will compete for medals in the women’s shot put and race walk events.
There will also be other events where Indian athletes will be in action — esports, the semi-finals of the squash team, table tennis and hockey where the women’s team will take on Malaysia.

India won gold in shooting, silver in wushu and bronze in equestrian on Thursday.
In the men’s 10m air pistol, Sarabjot Singh, Arjun Singh Cheema and Shiva Narwal combined to win the team gold with a score of 1733, one more than China.
Roshibina Devi wins silver medal in women’s 60kg wushu sanda event. He found tough work against Wu Xiaowei, the reigning champion in the division, allowing the Chinese to make a strong start. After two rounds, the judges declared him the winner.
After winning team gold in the equestrian dressage event, Anush Agarwala and his horse Etro claimed bronze in the individual event. He finished third with a score of 73.030 points in the competition after his teammate Hridyo Chheda and his horse Panna were eliminated due to bleeding from the leg.
