Bellingham ‘was born to play for Real Madrid’ – Vinicius Jr.

Vinicius Jr He hailed Jude Bellingham as “incredible” and said the midfielder was “born to play for Real Madrid” after the England international scored twice in the club’s 4-0 La Liga win over Osasuna on Saturday.

Bellingham opened the scoring in the ninth minute at the Bernabeu, before adding a second early in the second half to make it 10 goals in 10 games for Real Madrid so far.

Vinicius added a third and Joselu a fourth as Madrid returned to the top of the La Liga table.

“[Bellingham] Born to play for Real Madrid, to mark an era at the biggest club in the world,” Vinicius told Real Madrid TV. “Let’s hope. [our connection] Over the years, we have played together here for a long time.

“I’m delighted to be playing with Judd, one of the best players at his age right now. We’re all happy and the fans are enjoying it.”

Bellingham’s 10 goals in 10 matches equaled the start of Cristiano Ronaldo – who became Real Madrid’s all-time top goalscorer – upon his arrival at the club.

“Bellingham is giving us a lot of chances,” coach Carlo Ancelotti said in his post-match press conference.

“He’s involved in the game, and not having a fixed position gives him an advantage. It’s been an amazing start to the season. Nobody expected this level in terms of goals.”

Real Madrid have now bounced back with three straight wins in La Liga since their 3-1 loss to Atletico Madrid in the derby on September 24.

“[Bellingham] “Playing outside, inside, he goes deep, he’s very dynamic,” added Ancelotti. “We are lucky to have signed a spectacular player. He is the best [in the world] Or it doesn’t matter. We have signed him and we are happy with it.”

Ancelotti dismissed questions over whether the England star would feel pressure to keep up his goalscoring tally.

“[Bellingham] Very calm, he understands the moment,” Ancelotti said. “He knows he’s not a center forward, he’s an attacking midfielder, it’s not his responsibility to score goals. When the moment comes, he will contribute to the team in other ways.”
