Las Vegas – New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones He missed the first half of Sunday’s 30-6 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders because of a non-contact knee injury, and was officially ruled out just after halftime.

The initial fear, sources told ESPN, is that Jones has a torn ACL in his right knee. An MRI is scheduled for Monday to determine the full extent of the injury, but there are concerns it is a long-term problem.

Jones’ knee buckled on the last play of the first quarter, when he was sacked. He stayed in the game, but fell to the ground midway through his dropback on the first play of the second quarter.

Jones, who had missed the previous three games with a neck injury, immediately clutched his knee. He walked to the sideline and went to the blue medical tent for further evaluation.

Minutes later, Jones walked off the field under his own power and into the tunnel near the X-ray room at Allegiant Stadium.

Tommy DeVito Jones’ absence came into play. Instead, the undrafted rookie threw for minus-1 yards Tyrod Taylor The previous week against the New York Jets.
